MeeT DR. CHang
Dr. Chang graduated from New York University College of Dentistry and received advanced
education in Implantology from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chang
trained under the instructions of world-class expert in the field of oral implantology, Dr.
Dennis Tarnow at NYU and Columbia University.
Prior to assuming the Castro Commons General Dentistry, Dr. Chang joined several group
practices in the Bay Area as a credentialed implantologist and was able to refine his clinical
skills in the field of implant dentistry.
Dr. Chang is skilled in all phases of general dentistry including comprehensive implant
treatment. By applying the Concept of Complete Dentistry, Dr. Chang continually strives to
offer his patients the best treatments.
Throughout his career, he taught part-time at UCSF School of Dentistry as an Assistant
Clinical Professor. In addition to teaching, Dr. Chang was recognized with a fellowship
award from the Academy of General Dentistry and 5-year Service Award from
UCSF Medical Center.
As a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, he makes a
commitment to the continuous study and training in the field of implantology and equips
himself with a firm philosophy in the theoretical and scientific backgrounds of
comprehensive dental treatments.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with family.
